Dare Games
Play a game of balloon dares by writing dares on small slips of paper and placing them inside inflated balloons. Have the teenage girls sit in a circle and place all the balloons in the middle of the circle. Write dares such as, "Stand on your head for 30 seconds," "Cluck like a chicken" and "Sing a verse of your favorite song." On each dare write a point value. Each girl must pop three balloons and attempt to do the dares listed on the slips of paper. If she completes a dare, she earns those points. The girl with the most points at the end of the game wins. For a variation, place all the dares in a plastic bottle and play a game of spin-the-bottle dares.
Dance Games
Play some music and have all the teenage girls dance around the party area. Tell them that when the music stops they must freeze. Any girl caught moving when the music goes off is out of the game. The last player standing wins the game. For added fun, turn off all the lights and give the girls glow-in-the-dark jewelry. This makes it easier to see which players are moving when the music stops.
Makeover Games
Have each teenage girl select a partner. On a table place all kinds of makeup, including powder, blush, lipstick, eyeliner, several colors of eye shadow and brow liner. Tell the girls they have 15 minutes to give each other a makeup makeover. Award prizes to the best, funniest, silliest and most creative makeovers.
For a variation, have a hair makeover. Supply the girls with colored hair spray, hairbrushes, hair accessories, colored hair extensions and hair clips.
Flashlight Prize Hunt
For a game in the dark, create a prize hunt for the teenage girls. Hide several girlie items, such as hairbrushes, hair clips, makeup, lip gloss, gift cards and small electronics, around the yard. Give each girl a flashlight and have her hunt for prizes. The girl who finds the most prizes wins another prize, such as a gift certificate to a local nail salon. Another idea is to have the hunt indoors by turning off all the lights.
