The gamer can choose to control one of 30 NBA teams or 72 European clubs. The game advances in stages -- organizational hiring, scouting, player draft, free agency, summer league and training camp -- and the gamer must manage all aspects of the organization. Features include restricted free agency, progressive injury healing, a simplified financial model and the ability to expand the league.
