How to Make a Digital Birthday Cake

You do not need to real ingredients to make a cake. Make a digital birthday cake using an online computer game that allows you to ice and decorate your own birthday cake. You can print your creation and give it to someone who is having a birthday. Making a digital birthday cake is an educational way to teach children baking basics without getting them in the kitchen before they are ready.

  Visit Make Cake 3's game website. You will see the "Ultimate Sweets Maker" screen pop up on your screen. Click the "Cake" button to begin.

  Build your cake by clicking on one of the cake templates on the bottom of the screen and dragging it to the cake stand in the middle of the screen. Repeat with the top layer of the cake, stacking it on top of the base layer.

  Drag the ribbons of icing in different colors -- such as pink, green and yellow -- to the top and bottom layers of the cake.

  Drag fruit, cookies, and other decorative embellishments on to the cake. You will find the embellishments on plates surrounding the cake stand.

  Add a cake topper -- such as figurine -- and candles to your digital birthday cake.
