How to Exit Boats in Lords of Magic

"Lords of Magic" is a strategy game that was released for the PC in 1997. Players in "Lords of Magic" choose to follow one of six faiths, and can control troops via land, air or water. Each troop unit gets movement points which can be used every turn to move from one location to the next. Using a boat is the only way to move troops that cannot fly or swim over water. Using the boats effectively is a simple matter of spending movement points correctly.

     Click once on the boat you want to empty. A command menu will appear.

     Click once on an empty patch of shore. Dots with an "X" will become visible, signifying the path the boat will take to get to its destination. Green dots with an "X" represent how far you can move the boat in a single turn.

     Click the green "X" at the end of the dots to send your boat along that path. When the boat reaches the shore, the troops will automatically disembark.
