Table Games
Play a game of table hockey with some pennies and two players. Each player must sit at opposite ends of the table, and you must have a smooth table. Place double-sided tape on four pennies. Place two pennies about 6 inches apart in front of both players. The two pennies are the goal, which the players must slide the penny through to make a goal. Players must use one finger only to guide another penny down the table to try to score goals. The first player to five points wins the game. For a variation, create teams by having players sit on the sides of the table. The teammates will pass the penny back and forth to one another while trying to score a goal.
Paper Games
Give everyone a sheet of paper and sit at a table. See who can fold the piece of paper the most times. Have everyone use their imaginations to design something using only one sheet of paper. For another paper game, have everyone make a paper airplane. Everyone can line up beside each other and "fly" their planes. The player whose paper plane traveled the farthest from the line wins the game.
Charade Games
Write down several random things like animal names on card stock paper. Place all the cards face down in the middle of the table and have each player place a piece of double-sided tape on his forehead. The first player must pick up a card and stick it to his head without looking. He can ask the other players 10 yes or no questions about the animal on his forehead. If he guesses correctly within the 10 questions, he earns a point. The first player to earn 10 points wins the game. For a variation, divide the players into two teams and have each team act out the animal name without making a sound. Each team has one minute to guess the animal and earn a point.
Photo Games
Have everyone play a game of family bingo by printing or drawing blank bingo grids. Place photos of family members in all of the bingo squares. Write the same family member names on small slips of paper and place them in a bowl. Draw the names and have players mark their cards. The first player to bingo wins the game. For another photo game, pull out an old photo and show it to everyone. The first player to call out the person's name in the photo earns a point. The first player to 10 points wins the game.
