Get a Texas Instruments 94327 TI-Graph link USB cable. These cables are available online and may be available at your local computer supplies store.
Install the software that came with your cable on your computer.
Find a game you want to download. Make sure the game will work on your TI-83 graphing calculator. Download the game to your hard drive.
Open the TI-Connect software that came with your USB cable. Double-click on "TI Device Explorer." If you see your device appear on the window that pops up, your calculator is synced with your computer.
Download MirageOS and install it on your hard drive. This program will allow you to install and run various TI-83 downloadable programs, including games. Open the folder you installed MirageOS to on your computer and right-click "MirageOS." Make sure the "MirageOS" file you click is the "TI-Connect Application" file. Click "Send to TI Device." On the next window that pops up, select "Archive" from the drop-down menu and click "Send to Device."
Open the folder with the files of the game you downloaded. Select all the files, right-click on them and click "Send to TI Device." After the files are sent to your calculator, disconnect your calculator's USB cable from the computer.
Turn on your TI-83 calculator and press the "Apps" button, which is to the right of the "Math" button. Use the "down" arrow button to scroll down to "MirageOS." Select "MirageOS," "Main" and then your game.
