LEGO Drop
Place a small, sturdy step stool on the floor and put a jar with a narrow opening directly in front of the stool. Have one player at a time stand on the stool. Give her three LEGO blocks to try to drop in the jar. If a block lands in the jar, award her a prize. For younger children, omit the step stool and have the children stand on the ground.
LEGO Mega Tower
Give each child a bag of LEGO blocks. Place the same amount and same size of blocks in each bag. Give the children 15 minutes to build a mega tower using only the blocks in their bag. If a player's tower falls before the timer goes off, she can start again. After 15 minutes, the player with the tallest standing tower wins the game. If you do not have enough LEGO blocks for each player, split the children into teams and give each team a bag.
LEGO Racing
Have the children sit around a table and give each player a LEGO Speed Racer kit. The kit contains the blocks they need to make a race car. Use a piece of cardboard to make a ramp for the race cars. Have each child place his car at the top of the ramp and let it go. Mark the spot where each child's car stops with a piece of masking tape. The child's car who travels the farthest distance wins the game.
LEGO Toss
Cut the tops off 16 milk cartons and glue them together to make a square grid. Use a marker to write point values on the inside of each carton. Write higher points on the cartons in the back and lower points on cartons in the front. Mark a standing line about 10 feet from the grid. Give each player five LEGO blocks to toss into the grid. Record each player's score. The player with the highest score wins the game.
