Kiddie Bingo
Playing kiddie bingo helps children to learn and serves as a review for the numbers one through nine. Websites, such as Dr. Mike's Math Games for Kids, offer printable cards that are three rows down and three columns across. Players can win the traditional way, or the caller can choose number combinations of three that have to be called and marked before someone yells "Bingo!"
Matching Pairs
Concentration games such as matching pairs teach little ones memorization at an early age. At the Kidz Page, there are several options for playing memory and matching games, including games where children match pumpkins, animals and people. The San Diego Zoo has integrated games including the Polar Bear Plunge into it website. The rules require children to match floating ice shapes to save the polar bears and win the game.
Learning ABCs
Learning the alphabet is made easier with the websites such as ABCya! or Boowa and Kwala. At ABCya!, kids play an interactive game teaching them the ABCs by first showing them the correct order of the alphabet, then mixing up the letters. Players win after they put the letters back in order. Boowa and Kwala also has alphabet games.
Reading
Starfall is a website that was created for teaching kids reading with phonics. Starfall also created an application for smart phones for on-the-go ABC lessons when traveling with children. PBS.com offers games including Martha Speaks and Spelling Bee, which help children who are learning the alphabet and simple words.
