Finish the Scripture
This game is great for larger groups. Write out half a popular verse on an index card and the rest of the verse on a separate card. Continue writing verses in this manner until you have enough cards for every woman in your group. When the women come in hand them a card. Make sure for every card you had out you have handed out its match. Give the women a few minutes to find their scripture match. Popular verses to use are John 3:16, Ephesians 2: 8 and Romans 10:9. You can also use verses from a Bible study you recently finished. Have a prize for the first few groups that match up correctly. Consider giving index cards and a nice pen for writing their own favorite verses down.
Scavenger Hunt
Write out 10 to 15 statements for this game. Find someone who has blue eyes, find someone who plays an instrument or find someone born in the same month are the kind of questions you can include. Hand each women a sheet of paper when she enters the meeting. Explain that they will have five or 10 minutes to find all of the answers. The first person to answer all of the questions wins. A journal or coffee mug filled with chocolate make great prizes.
Two Truths and a Lie
This game works well for any sized group. Have women take a seat and explain that they have a few minutes to come up with two truths and a lie about themselves. They can break into small groups to share their statements. Give the women enough time to not only share their statements, but also to share the stories behind them. This will give the women a little encouragement to share about themselves.
Word Scramble
Make a list of books and people from the Bible in one column. In another column, scramble the letters from each word. Divide your group into teams. Write the words on a chalk or whiteboard. If you do not have a board, use poster board and write the scrambled word on one side and the correct word on the other. The first team to shout out the answer wins.
