Bible Jeopardy
This game is played like the one on television, except with categories reviewing the Bible or Sunday School lessons. Instead of buzzers, each team will have a can with beans inside to shake when establishing who is answering the question. The question board can be smaller than the one on television, with a total of nine boxes, three rows across and three down. One box should be the "Daily Double" and point amounts can vary for questions.
Biblical Charades
Begin by handing out strips of paper and having everyone write down five different Biblical books, phrases, people or verses, putting finished slips into a big bowl. Divide the players into two groups, and have a player from each team begin by taking a piece of paper and acting out what is written. If the first team cannot guess in five minutes, the second team can take a turn. Points are given as teams guess correctly.
Bingo
Bingo supplies are inexpensive and can be purchased at a local toy store or drugstore. This game is fun and easy for all ages, requiring someone to act as the caller and the rest of the group to have fun and listen. The caller pulls balls from a spinner and shouts out what numbered balls are pulled until there is a winner. Prizes can be Bibles or bookmarks with Bible verses on them.
Bible Trivia
Trivia games empower the group with a friendly game where knowledge is shared and lessons are learned. Trivia games focused on Bible study are available online or can be made by simply composing a list of questions having to do with Bible knowledge, Sunday School lessons or a recent sermon.
