Fall Bingo
Create bingo cards printed on pumpkin-shaped paper. Fill the bingo squares in with fall pictures or words, such as autumn leaves, a gourd, a candy corn, Indian corn and a pumpkin. Write the same words or print the same pictures on small slips of paper and place them in a bowl. Give each player a bingo card and a bowl of candy corns to use as bingo markers. The first player to bingo horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins the game.
Straw Turkey Hunt
Fill a medium size blowup pool with straw. You can find artificial straw at your local craft supply store. Place a small plastic or plush turkey toy in the straw. Have two players at a time compete to see who can find the turkey first. The winners win a small prize. If you have a large enough pool, have several players try to find the turkey all at once.
Clean the Pumpkin
Have a race to see who can pull the insides out of a pumpkin the fastest. You need a small- to medium-sized pumpkin for each player. If children are playing, have an adult cut the top off for them. When you say, "Go," the players must completely remove the inside, including all the seeds, from a pumpkin. The first player to clean out his pumpkin wins the game. After all the pumpkins are clean, everyone can carve the pumpkins for fun.
Indian Corn Roll
Mark a starting line and finish line about 25 feet apart. Have all players line up at the starting line and give each player an ear of Indian corn. Fake ears of corn are available at many craft stores and online. When you say, "Race," the players must drop to all fours and place the corn on the ground. They must roll the ears of corn to the finish line using only their noses. The first player to cross the finish line wins the game. If you have adults and children playing, give the children a head start.
