Fun Garfield Games

Jim Davis' "Garfield" has entertained millions of fans for decades via newspaper comic strips, TV and movies depicting the adventures of the lasagna-loving orange cat, his owner Jon Arbuckle and dog Odie. Fun online games and video games give players an opportunity to enter Garfield's world and interact with the "fat cat" and his colorful cohorts.

Escape Games
- Billy Bear pushes Garfield and friends in a fireproof trash cart through a burning building in "Escape From the Hotel Munchie," accessible at sites like Garfield. Press the arrow keys to run and the space bar to operate fire extinguishers. Collect floating bones for points and rescue Odie on the first floor. Fireballs and flames cost players health. Players lose lives if they run out of good health or fall beneath collapsing floors. The game ends when players lose five lives. Also at Garfield, help Garfield and Odie escape a veterinary clinic in "Operation: Krazy Kennel Breakout." Press the space bar to jump and the arrow keys to move and throw dingle balls. To gain special powers, dress Garfield as a chef, cowboy or soccer player, among other options. Players may use Odie to help in more challenging scenarios. Space lasagnas invade Earth in "The Great Garfield Show: The Threat of the Space Lasagna," available for the Nintendo Wii platform. After the lasagnas use a laser to turn Garfield's mice friends crazy, Garfield pursues the mice to try to stop the lasagnas' evil plans. Help Garfield eat lots of lasagna and other goodies in "Lasgana From Heaven," found at sites like Y8. Moving the mouse to catch items, players lose lives upon catching books, trophies, TVs or Odie.
Scavenger Hunt Games
- Peruse a haunted house and find packaged goodies in scavenger games found at sites like Garfield. Collect seven various goodies in "Garfield's Scary Scavenger Hunt." Press the arrow keys to move and collect items that will help Garfield locate the goodies. If Garfield gets scared, the "Scare-o-Meter" decreases. The game ends if the meter turns completely red. In the sequel game, "Scavenger Hunt II: Donuts of Doom," collect seven packages of hidden donuts.
Sporty Games
- Play catch with Odie in "Dingle Ball," found at sites like Free Addicting Games. Click Odie to make him jump and catch the ball. Hold down the mouse button to increase Odie's jumping height. The game ends if Odie misses six balls. Earn 11 points to defeat a computer opponent in "Garfield's Ping Pong," accessible at sites like Garfield. Use the mouse to control the paddle and win by 2 or more points. The game continues if the game stands at 11-10. Also at the Garfield site, kick Odie as far as possible in "Punt the Pooch." Hold down the left mouse button to set Garfield's kicking power. Players have five chances to kick Odie.
