Indoor Activities for Youths of 18 Years

As a rule of thumb, teenagers like going out and spending time with their friends away from home. This is true when they are 15 and it is still true when they are 18. However, if going out isn't an option for whatever reason, there are a lot of things teenagers can do inside, either alone or in the company of friends.

Have Fun With Music
- Music is a big part of teenagers' lives. If you are stuck inside, you can always invite your friends over and listen to new music together. Ask your friends to bring their music with them or prepare whatever you are currently listening to and share it with them. If you are listening to music, there is no reason why you can't dance along to it as well and turn your day spent indoors into a dancing party.
Have a Movie Night
- A quiet night in can also be spent in the company of a good movie. You can have a specific movie theme, watch movies from your beloved director or movies which feature a specific actor or actress. Again, you can invite your friends over, or do this on your own. Get two or three movies and stock up on food to munch on while you're watching the movies.
Play Games
- Board games are an obvious answer for what to do when stuck at home. There are many you can choose from, depending on what you and your friends enjoy doing. For example, you can play chess if there are only two of you. However, if you have more friends over, you should choose a game in which all of you can participate. If you don't have any board games at home, you can play charades.
Reading Night
- If you and your friends enjoy reading, you can have a poetry or a story night. Ask your friends to bring over their favorite poems or books. Read the poems or passages from those books out loud and share your thoughts on them. If you are throwing a literary evening, take care of the proper atmosphere by lighting candles and putting on relaxing music to play in the background.
