Electronic Hand-Held Simon Game 1: Simon Says
Choose a game to play by pressing the "Game" button.
Press the lens labeled "1" to play classic Simon Says. Simon will flash a sequence of colors.
Repeat the sequence by pressing the colored lenses on your Simon. Play continues until the player makes an error in the sequence, or the maximum number of commands is reached by Simon. This game mode is for one player at a time. If you want to compete against others in this mode, simply see who can get the longest sequence.
Electronic Hand-Held Simon Game 2: Player Add
Start a new game by pressing the "Game" button on your Simon.
Press the lens labeled "2." This will begin a variant on traditional Simon called "Player Add." The player will choose the next lens in the sequence instead of Simon.
Press the lens of your choice after Simon chooses the first lens. Then repeat the sequence, adding another lens each time. Play continues until there is an error, or the maximum sequence length, 31, has been reached. This mode is single player only, but you can take turns and compare scores with your friends.
Electronic Hand-Held Simon Game 3: Simon Says Elimination
Press the "Game" button to begin a new game.
Press the lens labeled "3" to begin "Simon Says, Elimination." Elimination is a multiplayer variant of Simon Says for two to four players.
Begin a four player game by having each player choose a color. When Simon plays a sequence, each player is responsible for pressing their color in the sequence. If a player makes a mistake and presses their color out of turn or with too much delay, they will be eliminated. Simon will eliminate that lens and only create sequences using the remaining colors.
Begin a three player game by allowing the first color in the sequence to lapse. The game will continue with three players.
Begin a two player game by assigning two lenses to each player. Each player is responsible for their two lenses during the game. The last player with remaining lenses in the sequence wins.
