Electronic Hand-Held Games

Electronic hand-held games are board games, trivia and video games that have been modified to a specific hand-held device. While hand-held video game consoles, such as the Nintendo DS and Sega Game Gear allow a variety of different games to be played on them, most electronic hand-held games are limited to one specific game.
  1. Yahtzee Pocket Pogo Game

    • This hand-held game allows you to play regular Yahtzee on the go. Instead of rolling physical die, you are instead asked to hit a "Roll" button, clearly marked on the center of the game. Players may roll up to three times per turn and your score is automatically kept on the memory card of the game. In addition to playing Yahtzee on the go, the hand-held device syncs up to your computer so you can play online with friends.

    Travel Boggle

    • This electronic hand-held version of Boggle, created by Milton Bradley, can be played against a computer or with a partner. On the console, you can choose between two settings -- timed and untimed -- depending on the type of game play you are interested in. Instead of writing words down, all words are entered directly into the hand-held device. Scores are tallied automatically by the computer.

    Connect 4 Pocket Pogo Edition

    • The Pocket Pogo version of Connect 4 is designed for on-the-go travelers who do not have the time or space to set up the original game. The goal of the game is to place four pieces in a row. Rows can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal. You can play against the computer or with a friend in two-player mode. In addition, Connect Four comes with an online code that enables you to play additional games on the Hasbro website.

    Electronic Hand-Held Simon

    • This pocket version of the original Simon game shrinks the playing console into a pocket-sized circle. The circle consists of four pads, each pad consisting of a different color. Repeat what Simon says by matching the sequence of blinking lights that flash under each color. There are four skill levels as well as three different styles of play. The game runs on AAA batteries and can be played with multiple players or individually.
