Game Assembly
Locate the battery compartment of the Fast Track Pinball game. The battery compartment is on the bottom side of the playfield section of the game.
Open the battery compartment by turning the screw to the left. Some models of Fast Track Pinball will require a screwdriver for this step, others can be done by hand.
Insert 4, "C" sized batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure they are placed in the correct orientation. There should be a sticker with instructions on the back of the battery door or within the battery compartment.
Replace the battery door and turn the screw to the right to lock the battery door in place. If a screwdriver was required to remove the battery door, use it to tighten the battery door to ensure it does not come loose during game-play.
Remove the legs that are packaged to the side of the game's playfield. Most factories will ship the game with the legs tied to the playfield using wire, however, some factories will use tape. If necessary, scissors or wire cutters can be used to remove tape or wire and release the legs.
Insert the widest ends of the legs into the slots on the back of the game into the holes that are placed on either side of the battery compartment.
Pull the yellow tab labeled "ball lock" at the bottom of the game to release the game ball.
Align the holes on the back of the playfield with the tabs on the score keeper. Press down firmly until the two pieces are securely attached.
Rotate the score dials so that the "high score" and "score" panels read zero.
Rotate the ball carriage so that it displays the number "3".
Playing the Game
Turn the game on by locating the On/Off switch at the bottom of the game and switching it to the "On" position.
Press the "Start" button to begin a new game.
Pull the yellow ball release plunger until a ball appears in the chamber. Release the plunger to put the ball into play.
Use the flipper buttons on either side of the playfield to keep the ball in play for as long as possible, while attempting to hit targets and score points.
Use the plunger to place another ball into play when the first and second balls are lost. Each players gets three balls per game.
Turn the game off by turning the On/Off switch at the bottom of the game to the "Off" position when finished playing.
