Things You'll Need
Instructions
Take the audio and visual cables and connect them to the gaming unit. Then connect the cables to the television. Make sure all connections are tight and make proper contact.
Turn the television to alternative input. Some modern televisions have a high definition gaming channel marked "GAME 1" or "GAME 2." Either form of input is acceptable. If your unit is off, the television should become blank.
Connect the power cables to the gaming unit. Turn it on. The display on the television should power up. The game's BIOS messages should flash on the screen. This means the game's brand information will be displayed. If the television doesn't respond, check your connections.
Put the game into the unit. The game should start and the controllers should respond. You can now begin gaming at home.
