Ball War
Place a ball in a bucket of water and give each player a water gun. The players must stand on opposite ends of the bucket. The players must use the water guns to shoot the ball to the opposite end of the bucket. The player who makes the ball touch the opposite end of the bucket first wins the game.
Target Balloons
Use sidewalk chalk to draw a large target on a concrete sidewalk, driveway or wood fence. Draw rings around the target and label each ring with a different point value. Rings closer to the center are worth more points than rings farther away from the center. Make several water balloons and place them in a bucket. Mark a standing line about 10 feet away from the target. Each player must toss three water balloons at the target. The player with the most points after three tosses wins the game.
Water Gun War
Fill two water guns with different colored water. Use food coloring to color the water; however, wear old clothes as the food coloring can stain. Set up a course of random objects in the yard so players have items to hide behind while shooting. Set a timer for three minutes and have the two players try to shoot each other. The player with the most colored water on his shirt after three minutes loses the game. It is best that the players wear white shirts, as the color will show up better.
Ice Cubes
Use a large plastic tub to fill with water and two or three bags of ice cubes. The bucket should be large enough for players to stand in. Each player must stand on opposite sides of the bucket. Place two small plastic bowls on each side of the tub. Set a timer for one minute. Both players must stand in the bucket with no shoes or socks. They must use their toes to get as many ice cubes as they can from the bucket to the bowls. The player with the most ice cubes in his bowl at the end of one minute wins the game.
