There is an endless offering of free games to play on the Internet. Some of the most fun and challenging games include those where you work your way through a maze, facing obstacles at every turn, with the goal being to reach the end of the maze victorious. Games like these are thought to actually help teach children high-level thinking skills such as problem-solving, logic and following instructions, as well as hand-eye coordination and fine motor and special skills.

Bloons Tower Defense
- In this game, you stop any Bloons from escaping the maze. Building towers and upgrading Bloons towers next to the maze accomplish this. Use your mouse to buy and place towers. Click on the tower type you want to build, located on the right side of the screen. Place the tower in the maze. Deselect or cancel your action by pressing escape. You can sell towers at 80 percent of your purchase price. Pay attention because larger, colored Bloons have smaller Bloons inside them.
Harry Potter: Marauders Map Game
- Hogwarts Castle, Lupins Classroom and Azkaban are spread over the maze. Guide Harry through the maze levels to collect blocks to restore the structures before time runs out. There are guards everywhere, and the game ends if the guard catches you three times. Walk over the cloak to become invisible. Collect coins to gain points. You are also able to teleport yourself inside the maze. Use arrow keys to move around inside the maze.
Scooby Doo and the Hollywood Horror 2
- This Hollywood horror maze game begins with Scooby Doo and the rest of the group going to visit Daphne's Uncle Maxwell. When they arrive, they find that a ghost has kidnapped Maxwell, the famous director, once again. It is up to you to help Shaggy and Scooby look around the spooky mansion ground, trying to find clues to solve this mystery and save Uncle Maxwell yet again. Use arrow keys to interact.
Sonic Maze Craze
- This is an unusual game in that only Sonic's shoes are in play. You do not control or see Sonic. You will literally be in his shoes. Sonic has lost his shoes in the desert mazes of Sand Oasis. Your job is to return the shoes to Sonic. There are many obstacles and enemies that must be faced in order to return the shoes safely. The computer mouse becomes the shoes and is used to move them around the maze without touching the walls. Stay away from genies, fireballs and spikes. If you go near them, you lose a life. You start the game with three lives. You must also get all the rings in the game to obtain a high score.
