Fun Things to Unify People

Building a productive group can be important in a work environment, club or school, and there are a number of games and activities designed to unify people through working together toward a common goal. From team games to building contraptions, an exercise aimed at unity will get participants engaged and bring them closer together.

Stick Game
- The stick game forces groups to work together to achieve a goal. Have a group line up together and give the group one long pole to work with. Balancing the pole on their fingertips, the participants must work together to slowly lower the pole to the ground, a more difficult task than one would think.
Minefield
- The minefield game builds trust between two people. One person is blindfolded and the other acts as a guide, vocally instructing the blindfolded individual how to walk around objects and barriers that have been placed around a room such as chairs, tables and stools.
Storytelling
- A storytelling game can involve as many people as you're trying to bring together. Sitting around in a group, have one person start a story, stopping after a few sentences. The next person picks up the story where the first person left off, and so on until a complete story has been formulated.
Egg Drop
- An egg drop experiment will force a group to put their heads together to solve a problem, bringing them closer together in the process. A team must devise some sort of construction to put an egg in, which will protect the egg once it is dropped from the top of a building.
