Physical activities develop strength, speed and good body control among girls. Instead of watching television at home, an active physical hour every day would be a good idea to keep them healthy and entertained. Young girls are often fond of imitating adult roles of their parents, siblings and other people around them. They apply these roles to their dolls by taking care of them, using toy utensils to create a kitchen, stressing on relationships, family and friends. These games stress role-playing and enhance family values. They may also be interested in acting out fairytale games like Cinderella, Snow White or Beauty and the Beast.
Other Indoor Games
Indoor games are helpful for keeping the girls entertained if outdoor circumstances are not appropriate. Board games like Scrabble, Monopoly, checkers or snakes and ladders enhance analytical and vocabulary skills.
