Gummy Bear Games

Gummy bears -- those sweet, colorful, bear-shaped treats -- have been loved by adults and children for years. The squishy little candies are available in almost any candy store, and parents may appreciate that they are fat-free. Before you eat them up, round up friends and play games centered on this favorite candy. Award packages of gummy bears to the winners.
  1. Gummy Bear Candy Jar

    • Fill a large jar with gummy bears. Write down how many there are and keep that number in a safe place. Place the jar where all players can see it and have everyone guess how many gummy bears are in the jar. Players can write down their guesses or say them to you. The player who guesses closest to the correct amount can take home the jar of gummy bears.

    Messy Gummy Bears

    • Place 10 gummy bears in several bowls and cover them with whipped cream. Have all the players sit around a table and place a bowl in front of each player. Place a paper plate beside each player's bowl. When you say, "Go," the players have to put their hands behind their back and find the gummy bears in the bowl using only their mouths. They must place all 10 gummy bears on the plate, then eat them. The first player to eat all 10 gummy bears wins the game.

    Musical Gummy Bears

    • Print or purchase pictures of gummy bears and place them on the floor in a circle. Place one less gummy bear on the floor than you have players. Play music and have the players walk around the circle. When the music stops, each player must be standing on a gummy bear. The player left not standing on a gummy bear is out of the game. Remove a gummy bear picture after each round and keep playing. The last player standing on a gummy bear wins the game and a large package of gummy bears.

    Gummy Bear Toss

    • Place 10 small buckets in random locations on the floor and mark a starting line about 10 feet away. Adjust the starting line depending on the ages of the players. Write point values on each bucket with a permanent marker. Put smaller point values on buckets closer to the starting line and larger point values on buckets farther away. Give each player 10 gummy bears to try to toss in the buckets. Keep record of each player's score. The player with the highest number of points after 10 tosses wins the game.
