Name Icebreaker
Start the party with a name icebreaker to get everyone acquainted. Start the game by stating your name and stating a sentence using every letter in your name in order. For example, Ann -- Ann needs naps -- or Kate -- Kate ate the eggplant. Go around the room and have each guest state her name and make up a sentence. Award small prizes to the guests with the best, funniest and silliest sentences.
Votive Game
Use six votives from PartyLite and tulle to make a fun game for your guests. Get round stickers and write "You've Won a Party," "Free Shipping with Your Order," "20% off Your Order" and "You've Won a Free Party," on the stickers. Place a sticker on the bottom of each votive. Cut the tulle in circles and wrap it around each candle. Tie a ribbon around the tulle to keep it on the votive. Tell the party guests they can play the game only if they agree to have a party if they draw one of those votives. The game offers party guests a chance to win prizes and discounts, and gives the host a chance to obtain future bookings.
Auction
Print fake money or use monopoly money in an auction game. Give each guest $100 to start the game. Tell guests they will earn money throughout the party for asking and answering questions about the products. After you finish talking about the products, have a small auction with products from PartyLite. The guests can use their fake money to buy products.
Observation
Have your party hostess hold a tray of random items, such as a paper clip, a roll of tape, an apple, keys, a fork and a brush. Tell the guests to pay attention and take a good look. The tray distracts some guests from the true game. Have the hostess leave the room and give each player a pen and sheet of paper. Call out questions like "What color is the hostess's hair?" "Is she wearing earrings?" or "Is the hostess wearing glasses?" Have the players write down their answers and the person who answers the most questions correctly wins the game.
