Instructions

    • 1

Make a space to dig in by mixing the light plaster or clay and pouring it into a wooden box. To mix the plaster or clay, follow the instructions that are specific to each on their respective packaging.

    • 2

Place one or more metal or plastic tomb-related objects into the clay or plaster before the clay or plaster hardens. Be sure to place the objects deep enough beneath the surface so that they are completely submerged. Space objects out to create a challenge when digging.

    • 3

Take sand and fill the second wooden box while the plaster or clay is hardening in the first wooden box.

    • 4

Place metal or plastic tomb-related objects beneath the sand in various locations and at various depths for future digging.

    • 5

Set the two wooden boxes on a flat surface and place the digging tools and brushes next to the boxes.

    • 6

Have each player put on rubber gloves. Figure out which of the players will dig first, and have the first person roll the dice. Add whatever numbers come up, and dig that many small digs into the sand or plaster. The person who finishes with the most recovered artifacts wins.
