      Sign the back of your lottery tickets. In case you win, this will be proof that the ticket belongs to you in the event that it is lost or stolen.

      Check to see if you won! Lottery drawings are held at eight o'clock in the evening on the following days of the week, according to Washington's Lottery:

      Powerball: Wednesday and Saturday

      Lotto: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

      Hit 5: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

      Mega Millions: Tuesday and Friday

      Match 4: Seven days a week

      Daily Keno: Seven days a week

      The Daily Game: Seven days a week

      There are six ways to learn if you have a winning ticket. Check walottery.com for a list of winning numbers and earnings. You can also put your ticket in a Check-A-Ticket machine that can be found any any store that sells tickets, call the lottery hotline at 1-800-545-7510, sign up for daily email updates, check your local newspaper or ask a lottery retailer to check your number.

      Claim a $600 or under prize at any lottery retailer. However, it's important to note that retailers may not carry enough cash to pay your prize. If this is the case, you can claim your prize by mailing your ticket to the following address:
