Crack-A-Lackin

• As guests arrive to the party, give each one a strand of beads to place around her neck. If you do not have enough beads, use a large piece of yarn to tie loosely around each player's neck. The yarn needs to be long enough to easily slide on and off the player's head. After the party guests get acquainted tell them the rules and start the game. Tell players they cannot bend their body. They must walk around with stiff arms, legs and a stiff neck. Any player caught with a bend in their body loses their beads or yarn to the player who catches them. After 15 minutes, award a prize to the player with the most beads or yarn pieces.

Funny Messages

• Before the party starts, write down several funny messages on index cards and tape them to the bottom of all the plates. Include random messages like, "I like to eat ostrich eggs," "I have always wanted to be a space cowboy" and "I dream about white unicorns." The players have to secretly read their messages off the bottom of the plate. Go around the room and have each player use their phrase in a couple of sentences or in a short story. Award small prizes to all game participants.

Cherry on Top

• For a messy party game, use cherries, whipped cream and bowls. Put whipped cream in each bowl and place a cherry on top. Give one bowl to each player and have him place his hands behind his back. When you say, "Go," the players must use only their faces and mouths to get the cherry and eat it. The first player to eat the cherry wins the game. Another variation for more mess is to add a little more whipped cream on the top of each cherry so the guests cannot see the cherry when the game starts.

Funny Sock Game

• Have two players sit on the floor with one shoe and one sock off. Place a large pile of tube socks in between them. Tell each player to pick up a sock and prepare to put it on her foot. Blindfold each player and then yell, "Go." The players have to try to put as many tube socks as they can on only one foot. Give the players one minute to do this and the player who has the most tube socks on one foot wins the game.
