WWE Kid Games

The WWE is a professional wrestling company that was founded in 1952. According to the Financials page on the WWE website, the reported fourth quarter net profit for 2010 was $8.1 million. WWE Kids magazine and WWEKids.com are two facets of the WWE global media empire that specifically market to children. WWE partners with major toy retailers like Toys "R" Us and GameStop to distribute toys and video games worldwide; in 2010 Mattel became the primary toy licensee for development and marketing. WWE offers a number of games like interactive video games and board games to entertain children.

Free Interactive Games
- Multiple sites on the internet have interactive WWE video game sites. WWEKids.com has four free video games for kids: Race with John Cena, Keep Edge Quiet, Fix Rey's Face and The Undertaker's Ghost Patrol. Kids can go to the website, click on the game controller icon and play. Another free video game site is play181.com. This site has a free video game called WWE Raw Interactive where kids can interact with commentators, ask questions of wrestlers and trash talk with fans.
Board Games
- WWE Sky Slam is a two player game in which each player takes turns knocking down WWE stars. Players use a device to launch WWE figures like John Cena and Mysterio into a ring of WWE wrestlers. DVD Games
- The WWE DVD Board Game is priced from $8 to $256; the second, third and fourth editions of the game are being sold on amazon.com. A television and DVD player are needed to play this game. Two to eight players can enjoy a board game experience with eight different game variations on DVD. The game includes a game board, WWE bucks, 23 Raw and SmackDown superstars on cards, four score belts and more. The game allows players to become WWE managers who can purchase WWE superstars. The object of the game is to collect all of the Titles for WWE Raw or WWE SmackDown.
Gaming Systems
- Wii, Xbox 360 and all PlayStation systems have the video game version of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. The game is more suitable for children ages and up. The game's graphics are more realistic than in previous versions. The modes build better story lines; cut scenes and rivalries story lines are built on the matches the players set up. The Road to WrestleMania mode offers new features and better WWE superstar interactions. There is a new mode titled Match Creator that allows players to create their own match types.
