The game includes a game board, WWE bucks, 23 Raw and SmackDown superstars on cards, four score belts and more. The game allows players to become WWE managers who can purchase WWE superstars. The object of the game is to collect all of the Titles for WWE Raw or WWE SmackDown.

Wii, Xbox 360 and all PlayStation systems have the video game version of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011. The game is more suitable for children ages and up. The game's graphics are more realistic than in previous versions. The modes build better story lines; cut scenes and rivalries story lines are built on the matches the players set up. The Road to WrestleMania mode offers new features and better WWE superstar interactions. There is a new mode titled Match Creator that allows players to create their own match types.
