The level of each game is set according to the age group specified for the game. There are games designed for babies such as Tap and Color that require limited movement of the mouse to color an image on screen. For toddlers, there are games such as The ABC's Zoo Learning Game that teach letter and animal associations as a beginning to learning the alphabet. For preschool children, there are games such as a Phonics Learning Game that is more in depth and teaches beginning reading and sound pronunciation.

Knee Bouncers was created to offer an easily navigated web site with educational based games for younger children. There are simple games for babies such as Pop-A-Lot that teach hand and eye coordination while babies pop bubbles on the computer screen. For young children there are games such as Numbers that display animated characters and items such as balloons that display a number and teach beginning numerical understanding.

There are six levels built into the website beginning with the toddler level for children ages 2 to 3 years old. The games are divided by lesson and cover reading, math, art, coloring and puzzles.
