Paper Airplane Games

Whether in the classroom or outside, paper airplanes have long been folded and flown by children and adults. There are many different styles of paper airplanes that fly with various characteristics such as loops, fast and floating flights. Simulated paper airplanes are also available for play.

Paper Airplane Golf
- Arrange three hula hoops in a large open field and designate a starting line with masking tape or spray chalk. Throw the paper airplane toward the hula hoop, which represents a golf hole, and keep an accurate record of how many throws it takes to land inside the circle. Add the scores after the three holes to determine the player with the lowest paper airplane golf score.
Throw for Distance
- Measure the distances that a paper airplane is thrown from a designated starting line by each participant in three trials. Combine the three throwing distances for a total score. The person with the highest score is the winner.
Online Paper Airplane Game
- A simulated paper airplane game is available for free download or play via the Internet. The game requires the player to fly a paper airplane through classroom obstacles using the force from air vents. A flash player may be necessary to play and is usually a cost-free download.
