Video Games
Video games are played by many kids but some of those games are very static and require little interaction from the player. Encourage your kids to play with video games that are more engaging, like a fitness game where the kid hits a digital ball or a quiz game that asks questions to which the child must type an answer.
Craft Games
Activities based around a craft will ensure kids get involved with what they're doing. The craft can be holiday-themed, like making Christmas ornaments or carving a pumpkin. Or it can be as simple as making a sign to hang on their bedroom door.
Muti-Player Games
Games that require a large group of people are more interactive than solitary or two-person games, like clapping games or card games. A large group activity like charades, Pictionary or capture the flag gets a lot of people involved and keeps everyone engaged at once.
Whiteboard Games
A whiteboard game can take place in a classroom, where all students can interact at once in one activity. You can write out board games like Hangman or Mad Libs on the whiteboard, then divide the class into groups to play as teams.
