Cards
Teens like uncomplicated card games they can play as they chat with one another, so they can test their skills while remaining social. Use a pack of cards to play Rummy if your sleepover group is no more than six. If larger, buy another deck and split the sleepover guests into two groups. Place the most competitive two players in different groups to keep the game more friendly. If two groups are formed, arrange a "play-off" between the winner of group one's table versus the winner at group two's table. Have all the losers serve as personal waiters for the winner until the next game winner is declared.
Board Games
Your teen and her guests may prefer a board game that can be played until the cows come home. If so, Monopoly is the board game for this sleepover. With so many versions of Monopoly available, including U-Build, Championship Edition, Monopoly City and Monopoly Brand Electronic Banking, the teen's will be able to find one that suits them.
Truth or Dare
No sleepover is complete without a truth or dare game moment. Half the fun of getting a group of teen friends together is to open up and spill the latest or provoke each other to do something outrageous. Make your teen sleepover more fun by writing up the truth questions and dare directions before the event--asking questions you want answers to (or describing dares you want to see done). Make it fun for your guests by placing the slips of paper with your questions or dares inside plastic bags hidden in items like a jar of mayo or a brownie, or hide them at the bottom of a pan of ice cold water.
Limbo Dancing
Play "Limbo Dancing" with your friends. Use a long pole and ask two guests to hold each end above their head at first, moving it down about 6 inches every time all the teens have danced beneath it one trip through. Teens who don't make it through can be blasted by a high-powered water gun from the winner of the last game played.
