Instructions
Decide who will make the faces and who will guess the feelings.
Choose a feeling, and make the face look like that of a person who is experiencing that feeling. For example, if the feeling is sad, form your mouth into a frown. Some ideas for feelings include happy, scared, embarrassed and shy. The feelings should be more complex if the child is older.
Let the other player guess the feeling that you are expressing. Allow him have a turn making faces if he chooses the correct answer. Continue making different faces if his answer is incorrect.
Explain to the other player why a person would feel each emotion. Ask him to share stories of times when he experienced these feelings.
