The object is to move your game piece throughout the mall-themed game board looking for sales and making purchases, without maxing out your credit card. The game includes a talking electronic console, which instructs players on how to move. Bratz Passion for Fashion, which is for two to four players ages 7 and up, is made by Milton Bradley. Players must move their game piece around the board in search of clothing and accessories to complete a matching ensemble. The game includes a revolving closet for each player to raid. The first to return home with a complete outfit wins.
Virtual Games
Fashion Fantasy, owned and operated by Fashion Fantasy LLC, is a virtual game in which players express their love for fashion design and marketing. Players can act as store owners or designers, must balance a budget and compete in design competitions. Those who complete an online registration can play for free. The Fashion Show Ultimate Collection's Wardrobe Room, by BravoTV.com, is free to play online. The object is to mix and match the pieces inspired by the show's designers to create different ensembles. Click and drag dresses, tops, bottoms and jackets to fit the model form and share, save, print or snap a screenshot.

Project Runway: The Video Game, available for Nintendo Wii, is a game in which players design and present fashion creations. The Wii Balance Board can be used to model the ensembles. The game includes commentary by celebrity judges Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. Style Lab Makeover for Nintendo DSi allows players to become part of the game. A player's headshot is uploaded using the DSi camera. The game controls are used to experiment with different types of hairstyles and makeup. The game includes beauty challenges and makeover tips and tricks.

Dress-up is a game that offers versatility while stimulating the imagination. Variations of the game are limitless and can include using simple, homemade items or store bought dresses, costumes and accessories. Younger children can dress up like doctors and princesses, while older children can perform makeovers on each other using makeup and hair accessories. Adult makeover parties can include beauty games as well. Companies like BeautiControl, will perform makeovers on women at scheduled in-home parties.
