Beverly Hills Chihuahua: Follow That Smell
Papi the Chihuahua searches for his crush Chloe in "Beverly Hills Chihuahua: Follow That Smell," accessible on the Disney website. Based on the 2008 Walt Disney Pictures movie, this game requires you to search for Chloe in a series of dark mazes. Press the directional arrow keys to move in those respective directions and guide Papi through a maze of obstacles. The "Smell-O-Meter" at the top of the screen lets you know if you're moving in the right direction. When you run into a light bulb in the maze, you get a quick look at the whole maze board. Once you find "Finish," you exit the maze and advance to the next level.
Chihuahua-Opoly
Rather than collect and trade real estate as you do in the classic Monopoly board game, collect and trade Chihuahuas in Late For the Sky's "Chihuahua-Opoly," recommended for ages 8 and up. As you move on the game board, you'll face hardships such as getting fleas, going to the kennel and having an accident on the carpet. You'll collect $200 every time you cross the "Go Chihuahuas" space and draw cards when you land on "Good Dog" and "Bad Dog" spaces. Dog deed cards provide facts about Chihuahuas.
The Chihuahua Case
Players help a robber steal diamonds while evading a Chihuahua-Piranha in "The Chihuahua Case," accessible at Fupa and other websites. Clicking on diamonds at the upper right of the screen and dragging them to the robber, players try to avoid the mansion's security system. If the diamonds make contact with the security system, the Chihuahua-Piranha wakes up and attacks the robber. Players can retry a level if they fail to get a diamond to the robber.
Nintendog - Chihuahua &Friends
Just as they would raise a real dog, players take care of a virtual Chihuahua and other breeds in "Nintendogs - Chihuahua &Friends," available for the Nintendo DS platform. Players feed their puppies, give them water, walk them, bathe them and buy them toys. To prepare for competitions such as agility trials, obedience trials and a flying disc competition, players take their puppy to the park and gym for practice. If puppies win a competition, owners can buy other puppy breeds with their winnings. Aside from the Chihuahua, players start off the game with the following breeds: Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, German Shepherd, Shetland Sheepdog and Yorkshire Terrier. Players unlock additional breeds as they play the game or interact with other Nintendogs players.
