Instructions
Hold your partner's right hand with your left and place your other hand on your partner's waist.
Take the first step with your left foot, while your partner takes a short step back with her right. This is a fast step.
Take the second step with your right, stepping so your feet are once again together. The woman steps back with her left, bringing her feet so they are parallel. This is also a fast step.
Take the third step with your left foot, while your partner takes another short step back with her right. This is a slower step for both partners.
Take the fourth step with your right foot, returning so that your feet are once again together. The woman steps back with her left, bringing her feet so they are parallel. The final step is also a slow step.
Continue, repeating the same fast-fast, slow-slow stepping rhythm, moving in a circle around the perimeter of the dance floor.
