How to Play Casino Games on a ClassPad 330

The Casio ClassPad series is a powerful line of graphing calculators used in classrooms around the world. Unlike Texas Instruments' competing graphing calculator line, the ClassPad is the only graphing calculator that utilizes a stylus-based control along with the traditional keyboard for numerical inputs. Like other models of graphing calculators, the ClassPad can be synched with your computer to download applications through the utility software included with the calculator package. This allows users to install additional applications to increase the functionality of the calculator, as well as add fun applications such as casino-style games.

Instructions

Install the ClassPad Utility Software

  Insert your ClassPad Utility Disk into your computer, and allow the installation to auto-run from your disk. A new window will pop up when the disk is read.

  Click on "Applications," then "Program-Link FA-CP1" to begin installing the file-transfer utility for your ClassPad. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the installation.

  Visit a website to download games for your ClassPad. Some common websites which offer a number of downloadable games are included below in Resources. Download the "Blackjack 22" application from Planet-Casio's downloads page.

  Unzip the downloaded game file by right-clicking the zipped folder, and selecting "Extract..." from the right-click menu. Extract the zipped file onto your desktop.

  Plug your ClassPad 330 into your computer's USB port using your sync cable.

  Open the Link FA-CP1 application you installed in Section 1. Click on "Start," "Program Files," "Casio ClassPad" and "Link FA-CP1" in the Windows Start Menu to open the file-transfer utility.

  Click on "File" and "Install Add-in to ClassPad 330" to install your application. A new file browser box will pop up, asking you to locate the file you wish to install onto your calculator. Navigate to your desktop, select your Blackjack file, and click "OK." Allow for the file-transfer and installation to complete before unplugging your calculator from the computer.
