Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut the plastic tip of the shoestring off with a razor blade. Leave about 1/2 inch of shoestring attached to the plastic portion. Set the shoestring aside.
Fray the 1/2 inch of shoestring left on the plastic tip.
Push the sharp end of the sewing pin through the center of the frayed end of the shoestring tip. Use a hard surface to push the pin completely through. The sharp end of the pin should now emerge through the center of the enclosed plastic tip of the shoestring.
Cut the straw into 5-inch pieces. Push the plastic tip of the shoestring through the straw piece. The sharp end of the pin should emerge, and the frayed portion should remain inside the straw piece.
Cover the pin portion of the straw with super glue. Stuff the other end of the straw with a tiny amount of sticking tack. Let it dry for 10 minutes.
