How to Make Your Own Plane Game

If your children are interested in planes, get them involved in an online game that allows them to build their own plane. This creative game will familiarize your children with the look and parts of airplanes. It also allows them to learn about different kinds of planes.

Instructions

  1. National Museums Scotland

    • 1

Read the introduction to the National Museums Scotland plane-building game. The game begins: "Somewhere in the jungles of Borneo a famous explorer has just been bitten by a snake! You must get the antidote to her before it is too late. There's just one catch ... you have to build your own aeroplane!"

    • 2

Select your fuselage. You can choose from three fuselages. Press the "Done" button.

    • 3

Choose your wings. Click on the wings, and then drag them into place on the airplane. Do the same with the airplane's tail. Click the "Done" button.

    • 4

Select your engine and move it into place on the plane. Click "Done."

    • 5

Click the "Test" button. Your plane will take flight to reach the explorer in the jungle. Your plane might not be able to land if you did not build it correctly. Do not worry. If your plane does not land, it will return to the workshop. There, you can adjust the parts and try again.
