How to Make Your Own Haunted City Game for Kids

If your children love to play computer games and enjoy games about haunted houses or Halloween, then you can make them a customized game that allows them to travel through a haunted city. The free, online game builder called Sploder allows you to create and design this customized game. Be creative and have fun.

Instructions

      Click the "Demo" button to practice making a haunted city game on Sploder.

      Click on the "Floor" blocks, drag them to the ground on the screen and release your mouse. Repeat this until you have a complete floor on your screen.

      Click on the green pipes, drag them to the screen and release.

      Create a tile house or wall by clicking on the tile icons, dragging them to the screen and releasing your mouse. Change the look of your tile by clicking on the right and left arrows below each tile icon.

      Click on the "Walls and Decorations" button as well as the "Switches and Doors" to finish off building your haunted house.

      Add "Power-Ups," which are icons that your animated character can capture to gain extra points. Click on the "Power-Up" button, drag a power icon to your screen and release your mouse.

      Add haunted foes to your game such as the "Vampire Bat" and the "Thug" by clicking on the "Enemies and Hazards" button and dragging a scary foe icon onto your screen.

      Press the "Test" button, followed by the "Play" button to test out your haunted city game.
