How to Make Your Own Country Game

If your child is a future nation-builder -- or is intrigued by the goings-on across the world -- then build a nation with him or her using a free, online computer game. In NationStates -- nationstates.net -- your child can name the country, determine its politics and even come up with a motto for the citizens to live by.

Instructions

  Click the "Create a nation" link on the game's homepage.

  Type your nation's crucial information when prompted to do so. For example, you will need to type a name for your country, currency and country motto.

  Select a graphic for your flag.

  Type a password in the given box.

  Click the choices to determine the politics of your country. For example, you will be asked whether "a country should be judged by how it treats its worst-off citizens."
- 6
  Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions by clicking the box. The computer program will generate a profile for your nation.
