How to Create Your Own Island Game

If you are looking for an engaging, free online game in which your children can practice creating their own islands, then show them how to play "Grow Island". This free game allows your children to build an island step by step by using different kinds of engineering used to build up the island.   Click the red button labeled "English". Then click the red "Play" button.

  Click on the different icons that represent the different kinds of engineering that will be required to develop the land. You must think about the order of the engineering. For example, you may want to conduct an environmental survey before excavating the land (civil engineering).

  Read the descriptions of the icons after you play the game to get a better sense of the different kinds of engineering involved in building. This will help you decide the order in which you click on the icons during the second round of the game.
