Farkle Dice Game Instructions

Farkle is a dice game that requires six dice and a flat space to throw them on. Players take turns rolling the dice to score as many points as possible without "busting" by throwing dice without a single scoring die being thrown. Points are accumulated over multiple rounds of play until a player reaches a set scoring goal.

Instructions

    • 1

      Roll all six dice.

    • 2

Check for any dice that are scoring dice by comparing the dice rolled with the scoring table. If no dice rolled are scoring dice, the player's turn ends and they lose any points banked that turn.

    • 3

Remove any dice you wish to set aside and bank the points on. You can elect to bank any dice that are scoring, but you do not need to bank all scoring dice.

    • 4

Add the total points banked, add them to your score and pass the dice if you do not wish to keep rolling.

    • 5

Roll any dice that have not been banked if you wish to keep rolling. Repeat the banking and scoring process. You can continue to bank and roll the dice that are still in play as long as at least one of the dice rolled is a scoring roll.

    • 6

Record the scores of the player at the end of each turn.

    • 7

Award every player one additional turn after the first player's score tops the target, most commonly 10,000 points.

    • 8

Add the final scores after the extra round to determine the winner.
