Things You'll Need
Instructions
Choose a rubber band that will snuggly fit when put into position. A rubber band that will stretch to about 12 inches long is optimal, but a smaller one way may be needed depending on the size of your hand. Use medium width rubber bands rather than super thin or thick rubber bands.
Set up a target at which you can shoot, making sure it is not near anything breakable.
Make a gun shape with your hand.
Place one end of the rubber band on the tip of your pinky finger and press your finger into the palm of your hand to help you hold it. Hold it as tightly as possible until you get the rest of the rubber band into place.
Pull the rubber band across your palm and wrap it around the back of your thumb. Wrap the rubber band around the outside of your hand.
Pull the other end of the rubber band out to the tip of your index finger, which is the point of your gun. Fix the loop of the rubber band around the tip of your index finger to hold it in place.
Aim your rubber band gun directly at the target. Release the rubber band by lifting your pinky finger, which allows the rubber band to unwrap from your hand and shoot in the direction you are pointing.
Play a game with a friend and keep points to see who can hit the bulls-eye on the target more.
