How to Work a New Scalextric Digital Set

Scalextric Digital sets come with features such as a digital lap counter to enhance the racing experience. Learning how to work the digital set can be a lot of fun and only takes a short time to set up. No tools are required, and the track is simple to put together. With a little practice, the Scalextric Digital set is easy to master and can provide many hours of fun.

Instructions

      Assemble the track parts and fit them together. This is done by pushing into place the interlocking components on the underside of each individual track part.

      Attach the two wires leading from the digital power base unit to the power terminals to the underside of the track at the start line.

      Plug the car controllers into the allocated input sockets on the power base unit.

      Attach the power transformer to the digital power base by inserting the transformer's connection jack into the jack input socket. Plug the transformer into the nearest available power outlet.

      Place the racing cars on the track. Connect them to the single slots by fitting the racing guide on the underside of each car into the single slot. Each car should be connected to a different single slot. Test the controllers to determine what cars they operate.

      Use a controller to guide a car for one lap to test the track. Squeeze the trigger to make the car move; squeeze the trigger harder to accelerate, and release pressure on the trigger to decelerate.

      Reset the lap counter by pressing the "Reset" button on the digital power base, then commence racing.
