How to Play
Sport stacking is played by upstacking and downstacking a set of 12 specially-designed cups into various patterns of pyramids as fast as you can. Players must begin upstacking from either left to right or vice versa. Official competition-sized cups are used in sport stacking and are designed to better accommodate the objective of the game.
Cups
Cups used in sport stacking contain three holes in the center to allow air to escape the cup quickly during downstacking. Sport stacking cups also feature a special shoulder to provide the right amount of distance between cups during the speed stacking process. Sport stacking cups also feature textured outsides, smooth insides and reinforced lips.
Association
Sport stacking competitions are governed by the World Sport Stacking Association. Formed as the World Cup Stacking Association in 2001, the WCSA changed its name to the WSSA in 2005. Speed Stacks products are the only sport stacking equipment sanctioned for use by the WWSA.
