• Simple wall racks come in two small pieces. The top part holds the tip of the pool cue in place, while the bottom of the cue rests in the indention on the lower holder. The pieces of this pool cue rack simply screw into the wall.

• These are a fancier version of the wall rack. Instead of two separate pieces of wood, these have wood on all four sides. They are like a rectangular box made of wood. Some wall racks hold only pool cues while others hold the cues, balls and other pool accessories in drawers and shelves.

In-Wall Pool Cue Racks

• This pool cue rack fits into a recessed area in the wall. They won't stick out and take up space because they are built flush with the wall. These come as fancy as you want or and you can spend as much as your budget will allow. Some in-wall cue racks store only the pool cues, but others also have drawers or shelves to store the balls, triangle, chalk and other items needed for a game of pool.

Floor Pool Cue Racks

• These are like a cabinet and sit on the floor. Since they are not fastened to the wall or floor, they can be moved to a different section of the room or house. These come in a wide variety of styles and wood types.

Multifunctional Floor Cue Holders

• This cue holder is small and portable. Simply slide the bottom end of the pool cue into the top hole first so the bottom will be held in the bottom of the rack. The holes used to hold the cues may be on two sides of the wood piece, or on all four sides. Some of the pool cue racks function as tables, giving you a place to set your drinks. They can be made of wood or metal.
