How to Unlock All Cars in Burnout 3: Takedown

"Burnout 3: Takedown" has more than 70 cars that can be unlocked. These cars are divided into seven groups. The Compact, Muscle, Coupe, Sports and Super series are unlocked mainly through races that use that type of car. The Heavyweight series is unlocked when you earn a set amount of money in Crash mode. The Special series of cars all have a unique unlock requirement.

Instructions

    • 1

      Win a gold medal in the Downtown Race 1, Waterfront Face-Off, Lakeside Getaway Face-Off 1, Kings of the Road Face-Off and Grand Prix races in the Compact series. The Compact series is the default group of cars unlocked at the beginning of the game. The Muscle series of races and cars is unlocked when the Compact Grand Prix is won.

      Win a gold medal in the Kings of the Road Race, Mountain Parkway Face-Off 1, Mountain Parkway Face-Off 2, Lakeside Getaway Face-Off 2 and Grand Prix races in the Muscle series. The Coupe series of races and cars is the next group unlocked.

      Win a gold medal in the Vineyard Face-Off, Alpine Race, Continental Face-Off 1, Frozen Peak Face-Off 1 and Grand Prix races in the Coupe series. The Sports series of races and cars will be unlocked.

      Win a gold medal in the Continental Run Race 2, Continental Face-Off 2, Frozen Peak Face-Off 2, Alpine Face-Off and Grand Prix races in the Sports series. The Super series is the next set of races and cars.

      Win a gold medal in the Island Paradise Face-Off, Golden City Face-Off, Gold Medal GT, Dockside Face Off and Grand Prix races of the Super series.

      Win gold medals in all of the remaining races.

      Perform a takedown on every race course while "Signature Takedown" is displayed on the screen. This always appears in the same location on each race.

      Beat the lap time on every Special series race.

    • 9

      Earn more than $90 million in Crash mode races.

    • 10

      Perform 2,000 takedowns and earn 200,000 Burnout points, if you have not already done so.
