Balloon Darts
Blow up several small balloons and attach them to a board using tacks. Have extra balloons, so you can replace each balloon as the children pop them. Place a standing line about 6 feet away from the board. Give each child three darts and let him try to pop a balloon from behind the standing line. For each balloon a child pops, he gets a small prize.
Floating Eggs
Get several plastic eggs that snap together and put a small piece of paper in each one with the numbers one, two or three. Fill up a plastic swimming pool with water and place the eggs in the water. Create three buckets of toys labeled one, two and three. A child selects an egg from the water and draws a prize from the corresponding prize bucket.
Face Painting &Tattoos
Create a booth for face painting and temporary tattoos. Let each child get her face painted and put on a temporary tattoo. Have a variety of designs for the children to choose from, as well as some glitter to top off face paint for the girls.
Clown Nose Grab
Make a designated line in the shape of a circle with a table full of clown noses in the middle of the circle. Place one less clown nose on the table than players. Play music and have the children walk around the designated circle. When the music stops playing, the players must run to the center of the circle and grab a clown nose. The player who doesn't get a clown nose is out of the game. Take a clown nose out each time and keep playing until only one player remains. That player is the winner of the game.
Balloon Squeeze
Blow up several balloons for this game. Have the players select a partner. Mark a starting line and finish line about 20 feet apart. Give each pair a balloon and have them squeeze the balloon between them. When you say, "Go," the players must run to the finish line, squeezing the balloon as they go. If a pair drops their balloon, they must return to the starting line and start over. If the pair pops their balloon, they must return to the starting line, get a new balloon and start over. The first pair to make it across the starting line wins the game.
