How to Build a Polish Horseshoe Set

A polish horseshoe set is two posts that are 3 to 4 foot tall that have an area for an an open pop or beer can to sit on the top. The game is played with a Frisbee. The object of the game is to hit the open can off the top of the pole. A set of rings on the ground surround the poles and are used for points. Polish horseshoes is a game that is played outdoors. Make a simple set of polish horseshoe posts at home.

Things You'll Need

2 railing flanges, 1 1/2-inch
2 pipe posts, 1 1/2-inch by 4-foot
2 2-by-10-inch boards, 24-inches long
Hex head lag screw
Drill
Drill bit
Allen wrench

Instructions

- 1
  Lay the 10-inch surface of a 2-by-10 board parallel to the ground surface. Look at the surface of the 2-by-10 and place a railing flange on the center. Repeat with the second post.

  Screw the railing flange into the wood, using hex-head lag screws. Repeat with the second post.

  Place the 4-foot piece of pipe into the opening on the railing flange. Repeat with the second post.

  Use an Allen wrench and tighten the Allen nuts to secure the pipe. Repeat with the second post.
