How to Assemble a Foosball Table

Foosball, also known as table football or table soccer, is a table game that resembles football. The first foosball table was created back in 1922 by Harold Thornton. The objective of the game is to use the player rods or "football players" to hit the ball into the opposing players' goal. Foosball is played with between two and four players, and the game is complete when a team scores a pre-set number of goals.

Instructions

    • 1

Find a clean and level workspace to assemble your table. Begin assembly upside down. Assemble the legs. Use two people to turn over the table.

    • 2

Remove the contents of your table. Make sure that all parts listed on your assembly instructions have been included. Some parts may have been pre-assembled.

    • 3

Place the player rods into both sides of the table. When installed correctly, the heads of the players will be facing down and facing their opponents' goal box.

    • 4

Attach the front end of the table with the screws as indicated by your instructions. There should be nuts already installed into the walls of the table to ensure a tight fit. If there are no nuts, the bolts are included in the packaging. Place these in the designated holes, and screw in the screws.

    • 5

Insert the playing field into the pre-cut grooves. Attach the back end wall of the table. Tighten all screws.

    • 6

Assemble the playing field support braces that were included in the box. Attach them to the sides of the table with two screws for each side of the support braces. Attach the legs according to the instructions.

    • 7

Lift the table, and turn the table onto the legs. Make sure that the table is even and does not wobble. Adjust the legs as needed. Put the hand grip end caps on the player rods.

    • 8

Attach the corner caps into the corners of the table. Secure them with the appropriate screw (if included). Attach the scorers to both ends of the table using the appropriate screws. There should be pre-drilled holes for the scorers.
